About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development and implementation of ERG strategic objectives, initiatives and programming. Provide general support for the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Office.
  • Conduct research for presentations and learning materials.
  • Create and edit Excel reports, PowerPoint decks, and other documents in support of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain appropriate processes, toolkits, guidelines, policies, practices that advance efficient and effective ERG operations.
  • Develop suggestions on initiatives to take within the organizations to support diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Work with communications to drive external and internal diversity, inclusiveness, and respect-related messages through various channels within the company.
  • Maintain event payment cycles and processes to ensure fiscal compliance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years in ERG-related programming within a large complex organization similar to Ford
  • 2+ years of Project management experience
  • 2+ years of Organizational development/change management skills

  • Strong problem solver with a focus on empathy and ability to adapt to a diverse base (speak on behalf of everyone, not just the group you identify most with)
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple processes and projects at the same time

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and facilitation experience
  • DEI learning and coaching experience
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills
