About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

In this position you will be interfacing with VME/PTME Management, Plant Management, Quality Departments and Production Management as well as supporting organizations.
You will be responsible to assist VO and PTO plants to achieve the Next Level in Quality by Teaching, Coaching and Leading the implementation and maintenance of the Launch Readiness QOS, including procedures, strategies, and processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Strong Vehicle and Engine Manufacturing Knowledge in Machining and Assembly
Weekly travel to VO and Powertrain Plants will be required. Due to the nature of this job, overnight travel maybe required.
In-depth knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Runoff Requirements.
In-depth knowledge in FMA, i.e., DFMEA/PFMEA, SCCAF and Control Plans
VME/PTME Manufacturing/Manufacture and Quality experience.
Demonstrate an understanding of GPDS milestone/deliverables from MR – Job1
Proficient in MS Office Software PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and A.I Tools
Green Belt or Black Belt Certified.
Strong presentation and communication skills (written and oral) within all levels of the organization.
Can-Do positive attitude.
