About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Cultivating and managing the strategic relationship between Ford Land and key business line stakeholders within Ford Motor Company
  • Integrating the Ford Motor Company business strategy with Ford Land’s global operational platform (including, planning, design, project management, real estate and finance)
  • Providing global consistency, spending optimization, and employee care and experience
  • Communicating extensively and building productive cross-functional relationships - resolving collisions, conflicts, or issues as they arise
  • Serving as the voice of the customer; guiding the engagement with stakeholders to get input, co-develop solutions, and assess options
  • Supporting and advising senior and executive leaders on actions required to balance and sequence global initiatives with enabling real estate solutions
  • Facilitating cross-functional strategic planning and prioritization of company initiatives with various Ford Land functions (e.g., Project Management, Design, WPX, Technology)
  • Building change management roadmaps and engaging key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery; leading change by taking people on a journey through the process
  • Identifying continued opportunities for best practices, techniques, and tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, operations management, or related field
  • Strategic thinker who can approach problems with a creative and optimistic mindset
  • Flexible and detail-oriented, having exemplary time management and organizational skills
  • Capable of building relationships and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to have challenging conversation while remaining calm and solutions oriented
  • Masters’ degree preferred
  • Experience with business integration projects and rollouts - change management initiatives a plus
  • Results-driven with ability to dive deep into details while leading, motivating, and inspiring others
  • Demonstrated self-starter who thrives within a highly synergetic, multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Broad knowledge of business processes, business systems, and interrelationships between functions
