About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the day-to-day operations of our analytics platforms—monitoring performance, managing user/group and content security, and rapidly troubleshooting server and product issues.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver highly engineered, scalable solutions.
- Innovate by developing new tools, automations, and processes to maximize the effectiveness and adoption of our technology stack.
- Create and maintain clear, modern documentation for daily processes, installations, and operational procedures (Run Books, Operational Manuals, Knowledgebase articles, etc.).
- Provide expert L2/L3 infrastructure support to users and Operations teams, championing ITIL best practices.
- Partner directly with platform vendors to facilitate and resolve complex, escalated issues.
- Evaluate, engineer, and operate both current and next-generation analytics platforms to ensure they meet enterprise infrastructure standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field of study or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience engineering and managing application platforms that run on Windows Server.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-tenant environments.
- Comfortable using AI engines, agents, and assistants and possess critical thinking skills to evaluate AI-generated responses for correctness.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a knack for solving complex infrastructure puzzles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of the Product Life Cycle (release cadences, service packs, upgrades, etc.).
- Familiarity with broader enterprise and cloud service offerings, including Databases, Containers, Storage, and Networking.
- Understanding of database connectivity for enterprise technologies, such as ODBC, SQL Server, Oracle, or PGSQL.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and modern delivery concepts, including GitHub, VS Code, CI/CD, Terraform, and pipelines.
