About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Business Operations, the Manager serves as the primary architect for the organization's governance forums and operating model.
  • Ensure that the 'connective tissue' of the global supply chain is robust, documented, digital, and modernized to support the Ford+ transformation.
  • Orchestrate and facilitate global executive governance forums, such as sourcing package approvals
  • Lead the design and management of leadership digital command centers to provide real-time visibility into pending approvals, upcoming priorities, and business partner/supplier engagement
  • Curate and maintain the Global Supply Chain 'source of truth,' including the management of forum filings, historical event logs, and centralized communications repositories.
  • Execute the end-to-end logistics and content orchestration for executive leadership meetings, including agenda setting, material preparation, and action-item tracking.
  • Operationalize key strategic initiatives, such as the Ford Horizon initiative with suppliers, by translating high-level concepts into the recurring daily operating rhythm of the global supply chain.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between the global business office and regional/functional business offices to ensure global alignment and process consistency.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, business operations, or program management in a complex global organization
  • Advanced proficiency in SharePoint administration, such as management of sensitive/confidential data, permissions management, and new site designs
  • Strong proficiency in executive-level communication, strategic storytelling, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Master’s degree or MBA in a relevant field (even better)
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, business operations, or program management in a complex global organization (even better)
  • 3+ years of experience within Ford Supply Chain (e.g., Purchasing, STA, SOT, or Program Control) with deep knowledge of internal processes (even better)
  • Proven ability to manage the "connective tissue" of a large organization, ensuring that information reaches the right stakeholders at the right time (even better)
  • Experience in business office, program management, or chief of staff roles (even better)
  • Proven experience running and facilitating high-stakes executive meetings (even better)
  • Experience coordinating complex information flows and maintaining executive-level confidentiality across a global matrix, including knowledge repositories and historical business records (even better)
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and the application of automation/AI to business office workflows (even better)
  • Experience managing digital dashboards or command centers for executive-level decision support (even better).
