About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The UAT and Go-Live Manager plays a pivotal role in our core modernization program by leading UAT and go-live readiness across technical and business user groups.
- This individual will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live strategies for the Alfa Receivables implementation, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and comply with financial regulations.
- They partner with Enterprise End-to-End testing and in-sprint testing to support an integrated testing approach and facilitate collaboration across business, product, compliance, testing, and engineering teams. Additionally, this role oversees go-live readiness activities, including environment availability, cross-initiative resource coordination, policy and procedure readiness, and training design, while integrating UAT into the customer journey approach and culminating in a readiness certification process with stakeholder signoff.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of UAT or QA experience with a strong focus on UAT.
- 3+ years of experience in auto finance or a closely related financial services environment.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, with a basic understanding of regulatory requirements and data security protocols.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and the Definition of Ready/Done.
- Experience supporting large-scale system modernization or transformation programs.
- Experience partnering with Training, Org Change Management, Compliance, and operational SMEs on training design, procedure readiness, and job aids.
- Experience supporting go-live readiness, cutover, and operational launch activities, including dress rehearsals, support model preparation, escalation paths, command center readiness, and hypercare.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and eliciting business requirements.
- Proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA/Xray for test case management, execution tracking, and defect management.
- Strong facilitation, documentation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to present risks, decisions, and readiness status clearly to leadership.
