About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for billing, payment orchestration, and financial reporting to enable critical revenue recognition.
- Full-Stack Engineering: Apply full-stack skills to enhance and evolve the platform, ensuring high performance and seamless functionality across all components.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Technical Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenging technical issues to improve the reliability, efficiency, and future-readiness of the platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Cloud Experience: Proven experience developing and maintaining applications in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Architecture & Design: Familiarity with microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Technical Leadership: A track record of contributing to technical design discussions and driving software development best practices.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in an agile development environment.

- Zuora Platform Development: Extensive hands-on experience with Zuora, including deep practical knowledge of Zuora APIs (REST, SOAP), Z-Objects, custom fields, workflows, and external system integrations.
- Zuora Billing: Proficiency in the configuration and customization of Zuora Billing.
- Financial Systems & Processes: Solid understanding of financial systems, billing processes, payment gateways, and accounting principles.
- Subscription Models: Experience working specifically within subscription-based business models.
