About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead VSCS process
  • Responsible to meet with Design & Release engineers and Feature Owners on Technical Design Review meetings to assign the correct MFAL (Minor Feature Codes) Logic for each of the Configurable parameters on each electrical CAN Module (ECU)
  • Develop, release and maintain VSCS in VSEM by Program Vehicle Line
  • Upload VSCS to Vanguard (VSCS Sign off Tool) to pursue D&R and Feature Owners Sign off for each prototype Build and for J1 Release
  • Maintain Mask Code DTC list by Vehicle Line and communicate to VO VCT engineers for implementation
  • Interact with D&Rs, Feature Owners and Systems engineers to implement and assure the best practices to meet Feature assurance for our customers
  • Develop, release and maintain Pro-Page 2 documents and share it with VO - these documents establish the EOL test requirements and identify/communicate any unique Hardware Requirements for EOL/Service Tools if known
  • Creation of PMRs (Program Management Request Change) for EOL (End of Line) tools test
  • SPOCs (Single Point of Contact) for Vanguard (VSCS Sign off tool) to keep it updated and improving
  • SPOCs for EOL Simulator tool to keep it updated

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of automotive industry environment
  • Technical knowledge of Vehicle Architectures and Electronic modules and GPDS experience from PS to OKTB
  • Requirements engineering experience / Hardware and Software Specifications interpretation
  • Working knowledge of Engineering disciplines (P-diagram, DFMEA, DVP&R, etc.).
  • Knowledge of PDL (Product Design Letters) and Engineering
  • A comprehensive understanding of electrical Subsystem Design & Diagnostic Specifications
  • Deep knowledge of Electrical design and electronic functionality
  • Ability to understand critical path of Electrical Modules Software and Hardware implementation
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in cross-function team environment
  • Excellent organization, communication, time/program management and presentation skills
  • Attitude to learn and team worker.
