Key responsibilities & impact

Technical leader in Ford Performance to lead the builds and launch and quality plans for both internal and external suppliers to deliver Raptors.
Manage team of engineers covering the Plant Vehicle Teams, prototype build and supplier technical assistance.
Responsible for efficient and timely execution of prototypes for metrics of cost and engineering resources.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering required.
Minimum of 15 years experience in Ford Plant Vehicle Teams or Product Engineering Support of OEM vehicle launches.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Future responsibilities of the role will include mandatory travel to support launch efforts

Engineering Masters of Science degree or higher
Working understanding of Functional requirements, failure mode effects, causes, severity and detection methods (DFMEAs)
Ability to develop clear working level documents and management presentations as well as clear/concise communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel to both Ford and supplier domestic and foreign locations.
