About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Technical leader in Ford Performance to lead the builds and launch and quality plans for both internal and external suppliers to deliver Raptors.
  • Manage team of engineers covering the Plant Vehicle Teams, prototype build and supplier technical assistance.
  • Responsible for efficient and timely execution of prototypes for metrics of cost and engineering resources.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in Ford Plant Vehicle Teams or Product Engineering Support of OEM vehicle launches.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Future responsibilities of the role will include mandatory travel to support launch efforts

  • Engineering Masters of Science degree or higher
  • Working understanding of Functional requirements, failure mode effects, causes, severity and detection methods (DFMEAs)
  • Ability to develop clear working level documents and management presentations as well as clear/concise communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to both Ford and supplier domestic and foreign locations.
