About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for critical spend areas across the UEV platform and follow-on advanced EV programs from sourcing strategy development through SOP, including supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Partner with engineering from concept through launch to align sourcing strategy with technical roadmaps, design freeze milestones, and prototype-to-production transitions.
Build first-principles should-cost models with cross-functional teams to drive a ground-up, physics-based part and system cost perspective.
Lead make-vs-buy analysis to ensure we have a best-in-class supply chain that delivers optimal value.
Develop the supply base for resilience.
Drive automation across the supply chain to deliver best-in-class supply chain efficiency.
Shape the tools and processes the ADVEV supply chain runs on.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
5+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management.
Experience bringing creative negotiation skills and out-of-the-box strategy.
Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or MBA (preferred).
Hands-on experience building and launching highly effective supply chains (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
An eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment where you are part of a high performing team (preferred).
A systems approach to design and development with the desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery execution and continuous improvement (preferred).
