About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Manager, Labor & Employee Relations, is a key contributor to our large scale bargaining initiatives.
  • As part of our Human Resources team, you’ll be part of achieving our bold vision. You’ll play a vital role in defining, developing and maintaining the winning culture that empowers diverse individuals to work together and create the impossible.
  • This position is deeply rooted in labor relations within a unionized manufacturing environment. The role supports national and local collective bargaining agreement (CBA) processes, and collaborates cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • This position is part of our Labor Center of Excellence.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources, or related field (or commensurate experience)
  • 6-10 years of labor relations experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Plant labor and/or management level labor relations experience
  • Direct experience supporting local, national or regional collective bargaining negotiations and leading or participating in subcommittees
  • Functional proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications and SharePoint.
  • Problem solving / conflict management skills
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication including presentation skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams with the ability to build consensus with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment with union stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements, labor contract language, and grievance processes
  • Strong skills in data analysis, presentation development, and stakeholder communication
