About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the end-to-end lifecycle of occupant protection components
- Manage deliverables through the GPDS landscape for vehicle launches
- Lead DFMEA and PFMEA to identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure all components comply with global safety regulations
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for Tier 1 safety suppliers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering
- Deep understanding of FMVSS 208 and 214
- Proficiency in WERS, GPDS, and FEDE
- Familiarity with Teamcenter for packaging and CAD review
- Mastery of APQP, PPAP, SPC, and Robustness Linkage
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage high-pressure situations
