About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the end-to-end lifecycle of occupant protection components
  • Manage deliverables through the GPDS landscape for vehicle launches
  • Lead DFMEA and PFMEA to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ensure all components comply with global safety regulations
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for Tier 1 safety suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • Deep understanding of FMVSS 208 and 214
  • Proficiency in WERS, GPDS, and FEDE
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter for packaging and CAD review
  • Mastery of APQP, PPAP, SPC, and Robustness Linkage
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage high-pressure situations
