About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Use the people skills and problem-solving skills you developed during your law enforcement or military career in an environment with less stress and less risk.
- Oversee all security operations for Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) facilities, which include parts distribution centers and warehouses, within a designated region.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the department.
- Travel to FCSD sites and other Ford facilities within their designated geographic region in the U.S. and Canada when not traveling.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in law enforcement, military, or a relevant security-related field
- 3+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role overseeing people and/or security operations
- Advanced proficiency in utilizing security-related software, systems, and standard office applications
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, take charge in dynamic situations, and manage complex operational challenges
- Possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL) or meet the state requirements to obtain one within 1 month from hire date, and demonstrate firearm proficiency as a condition of hire
- Possess a valid Driver’s license and ability to travel frequently to various regional sites
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven ability to establish priorities under changing conditions, exhibit calm and rational behavior under stressful conditions, and administer duties with accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of security and fire operations
- Experience in using data to visualize results and drive strategy
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results according to the Ford OS Behaviors
