About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The ADAS Warranty Engineer is responsible for monitoring, investigating, and resolving warranty issues related to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, parking assist, and sensor-based safety features.
The position involves analyzing warranty and connected vehicle data, identifying failure trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, etc.) to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who possesses a deep understanding of warranty fundamentals and can switch between priorities easily in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
5+ years of experience with OEM warranty data and metrics (e.g., Ford GSAR/AWS)
2+ years of experience in a non-academic setting using at least two of the following: SQL, Alteryx, or MS Access
1+ years of experience in a data analytics role (writing queries, manipulating large datasets)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and innovative environment where problems are not always well-defined
Familiarity with printed circuit boards, IC chips
Ability to make sound decisions based on available data
Strong work ethic
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, using advanced root cause analysis methodology, tools, documentation, and techniques (8D, 3x5 Why, Fishbone, Black Belt techniques, etc.)
Experience with GCP BigQuery (Even better)
Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) (Even better)
