About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The ADAS Warranty Engineer is responsible for monitoring, investigating, and resolving warranty issues related to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, parking assist, and sensor-based safety features.
  • The position involves analyzing warranty and connected vehicle data, identifying failure trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, etc.) to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who possesses a deep understanding of warranty fundamentals and can switch between priorities easily in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience with OEM warranty data and metrics (e.g., Ford GSAR/AWS)
  • 2+ years of experience in a non-academic setting using at least two of the following: SQL, Alteryx, or MS Access
  • 1+ years of experience in a data analytics role (writing queries, manipulating large datasets)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and innovative environment where problems are not always well-defined
  • Familiarity with printed circuit boards, IC chips
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on available data
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, using advanced root cause analysis methodology, tools, documentation, and techniques (8D, 3x5 Why, Fishbone, Black Belt techniques, etc.)
  • Experience with GCP BigQuery (Even better)
  • Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) (Even better)
