About the role

  • Act as the primary owner of delivery flow, ensuring bottlenecks are identified and resolved across value streams
  • Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and budget tracking
  • Ensure effective execution of PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events
  • Drive proactive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation across programs
  • Define, implement, and enforce standardized Agile processes, ceremonies, and tooling across all offshore teams
  • Ensure adherence to Jira hierarchy, mandatory fields, and data quality standards
  • Maintain performance measurement system(s) as the single source of truth for delivery tracking, capacity, and financials
  • Drive consistency in execution across all High Integrity Commitments (HICs) and foundational initiatives
  • Lead and develop a team of Release Train Engineers (RTEs)
  • Partner with the North American VMO Director to align on global standards, KPIs, and performance expectations
  • Establish a high-performance culture focused on predictability, accountability, and data-driven execution
  • Evaluate team performance based on delivery predictability, standards enforcement, and data integrity
  • Own and operationalize the VMO Governance Matrix, including KPIs such as Say/Do Ratio, flow velocity, cycle time, defect density, and capacity variance
  • Provide accurate, timely reporting for executive stakeholders, including inputs to the monthly CTO Operations Report
  • Enable transparency into delivery health through standardized dashboards and reporting cadences
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices, including predictive risk analysis, velocity optimization, and automated defect triage
  • Continuously improve delivery frameworks, tooling, and metrics to enhance efficiency and quality

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, or engineering operations
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing large, distributed teams
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification
  • Strong experience with Jira, JQL, and enterprise Agile tooling
  • Proven experience implementing and scaling SAFe in a global organization
  • SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification
  • Experience with Planview or similar portfolio and capacity management tools
  • Background in financial services or regulated environments
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to optimize end-to-end value streams
  • Deep understanding of Agile governance, capacity planning, and delivery metrics
  • Data-driven decision-making and executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to enforce standards while influencing senior stakeholders
  • Financial acumen related to budgeting, forecasting, and capacity management.
