About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
Identify opportunities to innovate and automate financial processes.
Develop and implement AI/ML models for enhanced financial forecasting and risk assessment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions that optimize workflows.
Ensure data quality and integrity across financial systems.
Design and implement advanced analytics dashboards and visualizations for senior management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Demonstrated experience with AI/Machine Learning concepts and their practical application in finance, such as predictive modeling, natural language processing, or automation.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI).
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Master's degree (MBA, MS in Data Science, AI, or a related field) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, AI/ML certifications) preferred.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
