About the role

  • Understand daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and automate financial processes.
  • Develop and implement AI/ML models for enhanced financial forecasting and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions that optimize workflows.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across financial systems.
  • Design and implement advanced analytics dashboards and visualizations for senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI/Machine Learning concepts and their practical application in finance, such as predictive modeling, natural language processing, or automation.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MS in Data Science, AI, or a related field) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, AI/ML certifications) preferred.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
