About the role
- As Paint Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for installation and commissioning of Paint related equipment, including but not limited to the following: pretreatment, electro-coat, paint curing ovens, spray booths and automation, miscellaneous booths (process enclosures), process decks (sealer, repair, and other), environmental abatement systems as well as the general mechanical and electrical systems supporting the paint processes.
- You will also be responsible for budget tracking, purchase order issuance, and site co-ordination (including safety).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint applications
- Willingness to work on cross-functional teams on issues related to Safety, Quality, Cost, and the Environment. Develop strategies for implementing balanced solutions.
- Have strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work in plant environments dealing with a broad range of personalities.
- Comfortable working in an environment where problems are not always well-defined.
- Able to travel and manage multiple priorities.
