About the role

  • Responsible for developing and implementing product and pricing strategies for assigned truck vehicle lines, for example Ranger, Ranger Super Duty, F-150, F-Series Super Duty and any future products. This will support the APDM group in achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with APDM Country and Sales Managers, Brand Marketing teams, and APDM distributors to collect and analyze market insights, including customer requirements, competitive dynamics, and overall market conditions.
  • Develop competitive product strategies for APDM based on market analysis, covering both current and future models.
  • Coordinate with Vehicle Program Teams, IMG Product Marketing Leads, and IMG Product Development teams to develop and implement Product Definition Letters that align with APDM’s product strategy and distributor requirements.
  • Formulate Market Equations for major programs, recommend competitive pricing strategies, and oversee pricing development and approval processes for assigned vehicle lines.
  • Lead decision-making on proposed TVM actions by aligning program team priorities with APDM’s product proposition.
  • Ensure Ford vehicles deliver strong value for money through optimized product and pricing strategies in APDM markets.
  • Develop and manage the APEM pricing calendar in alignment with export team schedules for balance-out and new launches, ensuring timely completion of nameplate pricing.
  • Work closely with Order Guide and Pricing Analysts to confirm accurate PCV and price setup in the GOaLs system; lead analysis and corrective actions for infeasible ordering issues related to PCV codification or pricing.
  • Capitalize on APDM business fleet opportunities by partnering with Direct Fleet teams and distributors to configure vehicles that meet fleet requirements and establish competitive pricing for tender submissions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5 years in Marketing in the automotive industry
  • Experience in automotive product and pricing strategy development
  • Experience with Sales, Product Development Communications and Research Departments is highly valued.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, time management and analytical skills
  • Good command of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work and operate independently in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment that can be ambiguous and complex
