About the role

  • Plays a crucial role in the successful execution and management of material trials across stamping facilities.
  • Responsible for orchestrating the entire trial lifecycle, from proposal facilitation and master data coordination to material logistics, feedback collection, and cost reimbursement.
  • Ensures seamless communication among stakeholders and supports the timely tracking of trial progress to optimize material validation and implementation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Materials, Mechanical, Industrial), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • (Preferred) Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, supply chain, material management, manufacturing operations, or a related technical role within an industrial or automotive setting.
  • Proven experience in coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and timelines.
  • Experience with material testing, validation, or trial processes is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with stamping operations or metal forming processes is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly conveying information to diverse audiences, including technical teams, logistics, and management.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments (e.g., Engineering, MP&L, Finance) and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining master data, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive approach to identifying potential issues and collaborating to find effective solutions.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications related to materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management software or ERP/MRP systems is an asset.
  • Ability to effectively schedule, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, ensuring productive discussions and clear outcomes.
