About the role

  • Manage Engineering Budgets & Forecasts: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and analysis of actuals, for Personnel costs, non-salary services and CAPEX costs.
  • Conduct Financial Analysis: Analyse performance vs. targets — uncover what’s driving results and recommend improvement strategies. Provide insights into cost management.
  • Prepare Key Financial Reports: Drive monthly forecast reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and priorities. Prepare accurate, timely reports for leadership & key business partners.
  • Oversee Outsourcing Finances: Coordinate financial aspects of Regional Services, including POs and billing.
  • Support Capital Expenditure: Review and prepare CAPEX requests for leadership, providing key recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to lift financial understanding and confidence in decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion smarter ways of working, help modernise systems & process and embrace data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CA highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar financial analysis or management accountant role.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & Power BI.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and adept at prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proactive self-starter comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex financial scenarios.
