About the role
- Lead precision measurement and testing activities within Ford of Mexico's Instrumentation laboratory.
- Apply established automation and measurement techniques to ensure accurate data collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data and meet project requirements.
- Provide leadership within the laboratory for test execution quality and results delivery.
- Develop the Instrumentation Technicians team into professionals in the automotive industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or academic equivalent in engineering: mechatronic, electric or robotic is preferred.
- +5 years of experience in transportation testing or laboratory related roles.
- Basic CATIA knowledge.
- Knowledge in electronic principles and data acquisition systems and sensors.
- Knowledge in automation systems and actuators and their integration.
- Knowledge in time and frequency domain analysis for large datasets from sensors.
- Understanding basic principles of automotive systems such as combustion engines, fuel systems, etc.
- Advanced English written and oral communication skills.
