Calibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction for gasoline powertrains to meet global emissions and OBD requirements
Evaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emissions, diagnostics, NVH) on vehicles and engine dynamometer test cells
Modify powertrain control calibrations to improve fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics
Design and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics
Conduct vehicle testing and development at remote locations in Arizona, Colorado, and Northern Canada.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration
1+ years’ experience with one more of the following software tools: ETAS, ATI, or MATLAB
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (even better)
5+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration (even better)
Strong understanding and experience with Accurate Technologies, Inc. (ATI), or similar, testing and data acquisition tools and software (even better)
Strong organizational and administrative skills (even better)
Ability to multi-task (even better)
Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills (even better)
