About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare tax sub-ledgers
- Conduct balance sheet and P&L flux analysis
- Prepare and support direct and indirect tax provisions
- Prepare or review VAT/GST input and output reports for statutory filings
- Assist in tax compliance, reporting, and audit-related activities
- Collaborate with Tax, IT Systems, Accounts Payable, and Inventory teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support management reporting and presentation of key tax metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- CA Inter / CMA Inter (Semi-qualified) candidates - Both Groups completed
- 0 to 1 years of experience in Tax Accounting, Financial Accounting, or related areas
- Knowledge of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax processes
- Experience in preparing tax reconciliations and tax provisions
- Working knowledge of SAP for journal entries and reconciliations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas
- Exposure to VAT/GST compliance and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
