About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and QA to design and develop a scalable microservices platform
Design, develop, and implement high-quality, reusable, and testable code
Build reusable frameworks
Work with DevOps and other teams to ensure the platform is highly available, scalable, and fault tolerant
Handle operational issues with little or no oversight
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards, patterns, and architecture principles
Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides for the platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of Object-Oriented Development experience
Deep expertise in building microservices architectures on the JVM platform
Experience with Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC
2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
2+ years of applying clean code principles, including TDD/BDD, Extreme Programming, self-documenting code, continuous refactoring, and Unit, Integration, and Acceptance testing
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Visa sponsorship is not available
Preferred/added experience: Apache Solr or Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, GCP or AWS, Python data pipelines, LLM applications, ADK, Gemini models, Arize AI, eCommerce Search and Discovery, and AI-assisted development tools
