About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development and implementation of Transportation Management System (TMS) modules alongside IT teams and Lead Logistics Providers
- Gather stakeholder requirements, create business cases, and present proposals to management
- Document and improve business practices across material logistics teams to create process efficiencies and cost savings
- Develop and maintain freight databases, dashboards, and key metrics
- Interface with Lead Logistics Providers on connectivity with the new TMS and define future system-connection processes
- Create implementation plans and rollout processes with key stakeholders
- Support special projects and requests through data gathering and analysis
- Work remotely, with flexibility to come to the office when needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Premium Freight, or Manufacturing
- Aptitude to deliver new IT tools to support technology requirements
- Strong leadership skills to collaborate with plant personnel, staff MP&L, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to produce quality results under time constraints, independently and in team settings
- Strong analytical abilities and decision-making capability
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and development of permanent corrective actions
- Strong understanding of Material Planning & Logistics systems, including TMS or similar systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, QlikSense, or Google Cloud Platform desirable
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
