About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP CPE within the SAP S/4HANA environment, customizing pricing rules, procedures, formulas, and conditions.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, finance, and risk management teams to define and refine commodity pricing models and strategies.
Integrate SAP CPE with SAP S/4HANA modules including RMS, PMSA, Materials Management (MM), and Account and Finance modules.
Integrate external market data and basis prices into CPE for dynamic and real-time pricing.
Apply BRF+ integration, Contract Pricing Framework (CPF), price fixation, and commodity pricing and hedging risk analytics.
Optimize business processes related to commodity handling, contracts, market pricing, and risk management.
Provide expert functional and technical support, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve complex CPE issues.
Develop functional specifications, technical documentation, and user training materials; conduct training sessions.
Plan and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Monitor SAP S/4HANA CPE developments and industry practices, recommending continuous improvements and innovations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
8+ years of overall SAP functional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically with SAP Commodity Price Engine (CPE) in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
Full lifecycle SAP CPE implementations experience.
Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP CPE, including configuration of pricing formulas, rules, conditions, and procedures.
Strong understanding of commodity trading, contract management, commodity management, hedging, and risk analytics processes.
Proficiency in integrating CPE with PMSA and MM pricing, and other relevant modules.
Experience with BRF+ integration for defining complex pricing logic.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP CPE solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Experience working in Agile project environments.
