About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze all quality data for Ford North America Interior Systems Engineering Warranty
  • Develop action plans to address current model quality issues and achieve quality goals
  • Engage with key suppliers for root cause analysis
  • Deliver supplier recovery initiatives
  • Lead Cost per Repair improvement initiatives
  • Manage Interior Systems Current Model Quality and Campaign Prevention teams
  • Work with design and release teams to develop design actions
  • Work with manufacturing teams to improve quality-related processes
  • Lead an Americas-based team performing detailed warranty repair and spend analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 10 years of automotive quality experience
  • 5 years of body interior/exterior systems experience in an automotive domain
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Master's degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • DFMEA/PFMEA experience (preferred)
  • Six Sigma background/Green Belt/Black Belt (preferred)
  • Root Cause Analysis experience (preferred)
  • Manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Product Design experience (preferred)
