Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design of product features and improvements aligned with business objectives and user needs
Balance UX and UI design from wireframes through polished visual interfaces
Use Figma to develop mobile app features and user experiences
Craft and manage backlog stories representing design work
Own independent design tracks, timelines, and deliverables
Develop and iterate user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes
Apply data-driven insights to inform design decisions and measure impact
Express Ford's brand vision through mobile app interface design
Execute designs with attention to layout, color, typography, and interactive behavior
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Feature Teams, and Design System teams
Solve large, complex design challenges systematically
Present creative work to stakeholders in design reviews
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
3+ years of experience in UX/UI product design
At least 2+ years designing native or responsive mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) that shipped to production
High proficiency in Figma
Strong portfolio demonstrating multiple shipped mobile app design projects
Deep understanding of mobile-specific UX principles, platform patterns, and design process
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and inspire team members and stakeholders
Visa sponsorship is not available
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
