About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 10+ developers and analysts
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular 1:1s, and drive career growth
  • Build a team culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and resource planning
  • Own end-to-end delivery including sprint planning, prioritization, resourcing, and blocker removal
  • Own production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution for dealer platform products
  • Establish and monitor SLAs and operational reliability metrics
  • Manage delivery risks, timelines, dependencies, and technical debt
  • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and improve delivery and support processes
  • Own the product roadmap and strategy for dealer platform products
  • Guide architecture, API design, microservices, data modeling, and engineering decisions
  • Translate business and dealer requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and quality through technical design and code/architecture reviews
  • Act as primary liaison between development and business stakeholders
  • Gather and prioritize requirements and manage scope, timing, and trade-offs
  • Report roadmap progress, delivery status, production health, and risks
  • Partner with UX/design and cross-functional teams on product experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in product management and/or engineering leadership
  • Direct management of engineering/analyst teams of 10+
  • Hands-on technical background with GCP, PostgreSQL or Oracle, Java Springboot microservices, React, and Angular
  • Experience owning full product lifecycle delivery, including production support and incident management
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define priorities and manage expectations
  • People leadership skills including coaching, performance management, hiring, and team development
  • Understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and system integration patterns
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments as a team or delivery lead
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
