About the role

  • Serve as the final approval gate before deployments to production.
  • Conduct comprehensive regression testing for frontend and backend changes across Next.js and Drupal.
  • Validate new features, bug fixes, UI updates, component changes, and CMS updates.
  • Ensure changes do not break Core Web Vitals, accessibility, user flow, or SEO-critical elements.
  • Perform functional, UI, cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing.
  • Validate content updates, translations, and multi-language releases for consistency and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize clear and actionable bug reports.
  • Communicate issues to engineers with precision, clarity, reproducible steps, and severity levels.
  • Partner with developers to isolate causes, prevent recurrences, and validate fixes.
  • Maintain consistent QA workflows and ensure all changes follow proper release protocols.
  • Raise red flags early.
  • Advocate for quality, consistency, and long-term maintainability across the team.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on web QA experience
  • Strong understanding of how enterprise websites fail and how to prevent regressions
  • Experience testing React/Next.js applications
  • Familiarity with Drupal
  • Experience with QA tools: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Lighthouse
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect prioritization
  • Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser testing, and web fundamentals
  • Experience writing clear, concise, actionable bug reports
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to see edge cases others miss.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
