About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the end-to-end retail planning and performance framework, aligning strategy, plans, and execution
  • Embed robust performance disciplines including KPIs, scorecards, targets, and review rhythms
  • Deliver high-quality performance insights to support executive decision-making
  • Analyse performance to identify opportunities to improve customer experience, productivity, and cost of doing business
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into practical, executable operational outcomes
  • Ensure initiatives are realistically planned, prioritised, and achievable within store environments
  • Build strong relationships with store operators and cross-functional leaders to ensure plans are grounded in reality
  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and commercial thinking

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience in planning, performance, commercial analytics, or operational optimisation in large-scale or multi-site environments
  • Experience operating at senior manager level, influencing executives and cross-functional leaders
  • Deep understanding of retail operations, store economics, and performance drivers
  • Proven experience designing and embedding performance frameworks that drive measurable outcomes
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage both senior leaders and store teams
  • Strong execution discipline and the ability to prioritise and deliver in fast-paced environments
  • High credibility, emotional intelligence, and confidence working at executive level.
