About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support New World stores across the North Island with strong people strategies and engagement
  • Strategic business partnering with New World Owner Operators
  • Understand engagement insights and bring to life engagement in store
  • Coach and Support through ER/IR, investigations and conflict resolution
  • Support data-driven decision-making through effective people and performance metrics
  • Champion HR skills in stores and collaborate with other Store HRBP’s and store-based HR teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong background in HR within medium to large enterprises, preferably in retail or customer-focused environments
  • Exposure and experience across engagement and culture, ER, IR, and HR advisory
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to build relationships and influence great people outcomes
  • Ability to travel (at least bi-weekly) and be present on-site with Owners
