About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and maintain cloud infrastructure, applications, and platform services across AWS and Azure
  • Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability while troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable Terraform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code best practices
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules and deployment patterns for multi-environment and multi-account architectures
  • Build, support, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
  • Collaborate with development teams to support deployments, troubleshoot release issues, and improve operational processes
  • Partner with senior engineers on cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, and modernization initiatives
  • Support cloud security standards, governance, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives
  • Improve reliability and operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles
  • Work within issue and project tracking systems to document work and support collaboration
  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience with systems, infrastructure, or network administration
  • 2+ years of experience operating infrastructure within AWS environments
  • Experience with networking, DNS, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery concepts
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
  • Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices in a version-controlled environment such as Git
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours outside standard business hours as needed
