About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure, applications, and platform services across AWS and Azure
- Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability while troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Terraform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and deployment patterns for multi-environment and multi-account architectures
- Build, support, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Collaborate with development teams to support deployments, troubleshoot release issues, and improve operational processes
- Partner with senior engineers on cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, and modernization initiatives
- Support cloud security standards, governance, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives
- Improve reliability and operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles
- Work within issue and project tracking systems to document work and support collaboration
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience with systems, infrastructure, or network administration
- 2+ years of experience operating infrastructure within AWS environments
- Experience with networking, DNS, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery concepts
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices in a version-controlled environment such as Git
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours outside standard business hours as needed
