Junior Auditor, ESG

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning and execution of second- and third-party audits
- Perform site sampling activities, conduct interviews, and define audit schedules
- Prepare preliminary audit activities
- Carry out validation/verification activities and perform remote or on-site audits
- Prepare audit reports and checklists
- Record and follow up on non-conformance reports
- Support the application of GHG accounting methodologies
- Verify compliance with international sustainability standards
- Record travel expenses and administrative documentation
- Keep personal and professional records up to date
- Participate in internal trainings and meetings
- Comply with internal and client health, safety, and compliance requirements
- Identify risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong motivation and passion for sustainability and climate change, including related regulations
- Commitment to ethics, impartiality, and ESG practices
- Availability for national and international travel
- Degree in Environmental Sciences, Animal Science (Zootecnia), Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy, or related fields
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Intermediate English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to apply auditing principles according to ISO 19011
- Ability to support audits for environmental certifications
- Proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting
- Ability to apply sustainability concepts and remote sensing/GIS tools in audits and verifications of carbon projects
