About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide clinical care and education asynchronously to members within the scope of RN practice
Assist clinicians with reviewing and preparing prescriptions, ordering labs, and checking state PDMP
Provide members and outside entities with lab and imaging results and respond to medical requests
Help complete clinical forms and paperwork with Member Support/Navigation
Collaborate with referral specialists on specialty referrals, including generating referrals at clinicians’ request
Support and participate in Quality Assurance activities
Conduct individual or group video injection training for members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Clinical experience serving the LGBTQAI+ community
Active RN license
Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and coworkers
Dedication to FOLX’s mission and informed consent model of care
Ability to answer patient questions completely and connect patients with appropriate resources and referrals
Excellent decision-making and communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills for timely task completion and patient follow-up in a remote environment
Experience working with diverse groups across race, ethnicity, economic status, and educational background
Position is 20 hours per week and includes weekends
