About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide evidence-based clinical care to FOLX members through a telehealth platform
Provide synchronous clinical visits through audio/visual format
Provide asynchronous care, including lab reviewing and resulting and answering members’ asynchronous clinical questions
Deliver trans/nonbinary gender affirming hormone therapy, sexual and reproductive health, primary care, and mental health care
Prioritize clinical care of patients
Participate in clinical team case study discussions
Attend clinical training sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Multiple active state NP licenses; ideal state licenses include GA, CA, TX, PA, NJ, OH, NC, NY, IL
At least 1 state-specific Federal DEA license
Active Controlled Substance Registration/Licensure if required in your state(s) of practice
Master's degree or equivalent from a college or university
National Certification through appropriate licensing authority
Experience providing primary care
Clinical experience serving the LGBTQAI+ community
Organizational and time management skills for timely completion of charts and member care in a remote work environment
Self-motivation, independence, and willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to learn new apps and programs
Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms
Ideal but not required: Compact RN license
Ideal but not required: 30 contact hours Continuing Education or a 15-week college-level pharmacology course within the last 2–3 years
