About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the business with BI reporting and analytics
  • Manage operations dashboards and reporting
  • Coach and train BI users and help build a culture of data-driven decision making
  • Partner with business leaders on “what-if” and “could-be” analysis to support key initiatives
  • Work closely with finance business partners on financial analysis
  • Support business change and transformation projects with data insight
  • Spot trends and support change programmes
  • Manage the existing BI landscape
  • Report on business performance
  • Maintain analysis tools and provide ad-hoc analysis, especially to help sales teams understand data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tell the story behind the data
  • Experience using data analysis to support decision making
  • Confident using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ambitious, inquisitive team player with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with star schema or multi-dimensional data modelling is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Power BI, is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or similar languages used in data analysis is desirable but not essential
