About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the business with BI reporting and analytics
Manage operations dashboards and reporting
Coach and train BI users and help build a culture of data-driven decision making
Partner with business leaders on “what-if” and “could-be” analysis to support key initiatives
Work closely with finance business partners on financial analysis
Support business change and transformation projects with data insight
Spot trends and support change programmes
Manage the existing BI landscape
Report on business performance
Maintain analysis tools and provide ad-hoc analysis, especially to help sales teams understand data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tell the story behind the data
Experience using data analysis to support decision making
Confident using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Ambitious, inquisitive team player with a can-do attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with star schema or multi-dimensional data modelling is desirable but not essential
Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Power BI, is desirable but not essential
Experience with SQL, Python, or similar languages used in data analysis is desirable but not essential
