About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in delivering our technology to market.
Your responsibilities will include designing and overseeing the implementation of complex systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, guiding the development process from conception to delivery.
Translate complex business, regulatory, and operational requirements into pragmatic solution architectures using cloud deployment models
Partner with sales and account teams to support pre‑sales engagements, including discovery, solution shaping, and technical due diligence.
Develop solution proposals, architecture overviews, and high‑level estimates for RFPs, RFIs, and bids
Define end‑to‑end architectures across application, data, integration, identity, security, and infrastructure layers, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and regulatory requirements before production deployment
Align solutions with enterprise architecture principles, cloud governance standards, and financial services compliance obligations
Produce and maintain solution architecture artefacts, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and integration models
Lead solution definitions from pre‑sales through implementation and go‑live, ensuring architectural continuity; provide hands‑on consulting during delivery, coordinating with engineering, platform, security, and operations teams
Support production readiness activities including operational design, monitoring, support models, and handover

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in an Architecture or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
Expertise in designing and implementing complex, scalable, resilient and secure systems incorporating high volume transaction processing and systems integration.
Commercial awareness, including effort estimation, delivery assumptions, and solution feasibility
Software development experience using multiple programming languages, with a strong foundation in software engineering principles and strong Java skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior client audiences
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and relevant tools and deployment patterns
Desirable - prior experience in Financial services, or Capital Markets
