About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work collaboratively with the European and global legal teams and cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
- Provide legal advice on commercial, technology, outsourcing and corporate matters in a financial services environment.
- Draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial and strategic contracts with clients.
- Manage relationships with key external legal advisers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Admitted as a solicitor/barrister with bar admission in an EU jurisdiction with 10 + years post qualification experience in a commercial/financial services environment in private practice.
- Strong contract review and drafting skills combined with a practical approach to contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in English required, and ideally in other languages desirable.
- Experience and working knowledge of both, civil and common law principles is desirable.
- Experienced in the regulated financial services sector in the EU, and in particular Ireland, Luxembourg.
