About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to ultra-affluent clients and prospects with investible assets of $5MM or greater
  • Support families and business owners through banking, planning, and wealth preservation needs
  • Drive new client acquisition through strategic networking, partnerships, referrals, events, and thought leadership
  • Develop and execute a business development plan to grow the client base and expand existing relationships
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and follow up to convert opportunities into long-term relationships
  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with UHNW clients through exceptional service and proactive communication
  • Broaden client relationships through a deep understanding of individual needs while maintaining fiduciary standards
  • Provide personalized education, advice, guidance, and solutions across investment management, fiduciary advice, specialized asset management, financial planning, business succession planning, and credit and depository services
  • Leverage specialty resources and surround clients with a team of experts to manage and preserve multi-generational wealth
  • Interpret business challenges and recommend current and future solutions
  • Partner with Trust, Planning, and Investment teams to deliver holistic solutions
  • Apply functional and technical knowledge to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions
  • Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships
  • Contribute to a collaborative culture prioritizing client outcomes and team success
  • Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, FINRA / SEC regulations, and the BSA/AML Program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Wealth Management
  • Deep expertise in Wealth Management with significant experience in Investment Management, Trust, Estate Planning, or Business Succession Planning
  • Proven track record in business development and relationship management
  • Ability to provide Investment advice and guidance to clients with highly complex and sophisticated relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively within a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Finance industry and the local, state, national and global economy
  • Exceptional listening skills to understand client needs and deliver a comprehensive client solution
  • Ability to communicate confidently with ultra-affluent clients and prospects, demonstrating poise, conviction and executive presence
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
  • Must understand and comply with bank policy, laws, FINRA / SEC regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable
