About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with FNBO Payment Advisors, Relationship Managers, and internal partners to source, identify, size, and solution in-footprint Commercial Card prospects and customers
- Manage assigned accounts after implementation and foster strong customer relationships
- Understand customer business needs and identify new, cross-sell, and growth opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of FNBO products and services and key vendor and partner offerings
- Develop strategies to reduce customer expenses, improve procure-to-pay efficiency, address cash-on-hand and working capital needs, and automate invoicing and payment processes
- Identify business opportunities and build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Monitor and negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Achieve retention, cross-sell, and growth targets
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and understand customer objectives, strategies, leaders, and stakeholders
- Complete sales paperwork and documentation and partner with implementation teams on customer setup, training, and onboarding
- Create and execute account plans aligned with customer goals and company objectives
- Monitor satisfaction, proactively address risks and issues, improve customer experience, and minimize churn
- Collaborate with leadership, Agent Bank partners, Payment Advisors, sales, product development, marketing, and customer servicing
- Lead contract negotiations and annual reviews and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor KPIs and account health, prepare account and pipeline reports, and present customer performance and strategic initiatives to leadership
- Identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations
- Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and account management best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Finance, Business, or another related field
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in account management or a related field
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and execute effective business plans
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools
- Results-oriented focus on business growth and exceeding targets
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings or team events
- Treasury, Global Banking, Merchant, and FinTech experience desired
- Knowledge of applicable credit card network rules and regulations desired
- Experience working with Salesforce desired
- Unrestricted work authorization and no requirement for future sponsorship
