About the role
- Design and develop commercial deposits, lending and treasury products tailored to specific vertical markets
- Create comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and enhanced product offerings
- Oversee product portfolio and manage products through the lifecycle; establish product roadmaps
- Collaborate with credit policy and risk management to set lending parameters for verticals
- Conduct industry vertical research and market analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Evaluate competitive offerings and maintain industry-specific market intelligence
- Develop business cases with ROI projections and monitor economic factors affecting industries
- Own and manage key vendor relationships and partner with relationship managers to understand client needs
- Provide subject matter expertise and develop educational materials for relationship teams
- Track and analyze product performance metrics; develop and monitor KPIs and performance reports
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, technology, credit, and risk teams to ensure efficient product delivery
- Serve as organizational champion for assigned vertical markets and facilitate client solution discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in commercial banking, preferably with product management focus
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial lending products and credit structures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and financial information
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Preferred: MBA or related advanced degree
- Preferred: Previous experience in one or more key vertical markets
- Preferred: Product management certification
- Preferred: Background in financial analysis or business development
