About the role
- Structure complex, ambiguous business problems and design rigorous analytical frameworks to guide engagement execution
- Lead primary and secondary research efforts, including stakeholder interviews, surveys, and market data collection
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, integrating market, competitive, and stakeholder insights into clear, defensible strategic recommendations
- Prepare executive-ready presentations and present findings to executive leadership, business unit leaders, and product managers
- Lead workstreams independently and contribute across multiple engagements in fast-paced, client-facing environments
- Proactively identify key next steps, anticipate risks, and drive project execution forward
- Contribute to FMI’s thought leadership through articles, research initiatives, and participation in industry publications and events.
Requirements
- MBA from a top-tier program preferred
- candidates with 4 – 6 years of professional experience in consulting, corporate strategy, product management, or relevant industry roles (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) will also be considered
- Demonstrated record of high performance, intellectual curiosity, and taking ownership of complex problems to drive them to resolution
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau), including work with large, complex datasets
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills, including experience engaging and influencing sophisticated, challenging audiences
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
