About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ticketing in Sabre
- Build and manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) in Sabre.
- Price itineraries in Sabre using fare pricing tools and stored price quotes (PQs)
- Issue electronic tickets (e-tickets) across different Pseudo City Codes (PCCs)
- Process ticket exchanges and reissues when a client needs to change their flights
- Handle ticket voids, and ticket refunds
- Work the queue in Sabre, ensuring no task sits unacknowledged for more than 30 minutes
- Monitor active holds, alert your Team Lead of anything expiring within 3 hours
- Verify every detail in the PNR before issuing any ticket
- Coordinate with the Client Service team when urgent action is needed
- Escalate any issue that looks wrong or is unclear to your Team Lead immediately
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must Have Sabre GDS proficiency is a firm requirement for this role.
- 3+ years of hands-on Sabre ticketing experience, in a travel agency, airline, tour operator, or travel management company
- A solid understanding of fare rules: you know how to read the conditions attached to a ticket in Sabre and apply them correctly
- Strong attention to passenger data accuracy
- The ability to work at a consistent pace while maintaining accuracy
- A habit of communicating proactively.
