About the role
- Analyze requirements, create test strategies, design test automation frameworks.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across web, mobile, API, and backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Log and track defects using defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, qTest , etc.).
- Mentor junior QA engineers on automation scripting and manual test design.
Requirements
- Strong background in both functional manual testing and test automation
- Experience with UI Testing – Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
- Experience with API Testing – RestAssured , Karate, Postman (with scripting)
- Experience with Database/Backend Testing – SQL queries, microservices validation
- Experience with setting up automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Attention to detail.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts.
- Perform exploratory testing,
- Execute UAT support testing and assist in production validation activities.
