About the role
- Lead the Regulatory and Compliance Operations team to ensure compliance with gaming regulations in various markets, including the USA, Italy, the UK, Ireland and others.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications.
- Own compliance for the Flutter Studios Platform from development through BAU activities and operational management.
- Build and maintain relationships with certification labs and regulatory bodies.
- Streamline Compliance processes and workflows; support for regulatory issues, incident management, and maintenance of a document library.
- Monitor changes in regulations and disseminate information to teams.
- Provide leadership, conduct HR functions, and cultivate continuous improvement within the team.
- Drive operational excellence and implement strategies to improve regulatory and technical compliance awareness.
Requirements
- 5+ years focused Compliance experience in Online Casino, direct experience of working with regulators and operators to ensure compliance.
- Ability to understand technical regulatory requirements deeply and communicate them effectively to a non-technical audience.
- Strong communication skills in English, oral and written.
- Stakeholder management skills, liaise with external and internal stakeholders at all levels, including Senior Leadership.
- Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional knowledge and experience with people management and coaching techniques.
- Experience on building and implementing strategic plans and frameworks.
