About the role
- Reporting to the Group Treasury Senior Manager – Systems & Processes, this role has responsibility for supporting treasury technology on a global basis.
- Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 treasury junior analysts (interns).
- Support the development and encouragement of a culture within the group treasury function.
- Contribute to outlining the TMS roadmap and priorities over the next two years.
- Oversee daily treasury TMS streams, operations and critical interfaces between TMS and key finance systems.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.
- Supervise daily operational checks and balance verifications, adhering strictly to internal compliance and control frameworks.
- Ensure seamless processing of payments, end-of-day and intraday bank statements, FX, money market funds, and market data.
- Support the rollout and integration of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) across our business units.
- Provide continuous system support and troubleshooting to maintain smooth operations.
- Drive increasing SWIFTNet / API bank connectivity and integrating bank statements into the TMS.
- See opportunities for innovation within treasury operations.
- Implement effective risk management strategies.
- Ensure and support compliance with SOX, external/internal audits, and internal controls.
- Supervise financial data integrity within treasury systems.
- Assist in the implementation and upkeep of security measures for all payment procedures within the TMS.
- Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams to protect treasury systems.
- Manage user access and ensure appropriate permissions are provided.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users of treasury systems.
- Measure improvements and automation initiatives via Treasury monthly benchmarks.
- Develop, enhance, and/or automate reporting delivery from the Treasury Management System (TMS).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treasury procedures and controls.
- Prepare regular reports on treasury activities, system performance, and compliance.
- Maintain communication with internal and external collaborators, including banks, software suppliers, and internal finance teams.
Requirements
- Treasury professional, with at least 3-5 years of relevant treasury and/or banking experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Previous treasury and TMS experience is essential.
- Ability to establish connections and relationships with internal and external parties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing environment with a positive attitude and desire to constantly improve.
- Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Prior Exposure to the gaming industry, directly or via a bank, extremely advantageous.
