About the role
- Report to the Accounting Supervisor and support the accounting team in building a scalable infrastructure, efficient financial close process, and effective internal controls
- Assist with customer invoicing process
- Prepare monthly general ledger & Intercompany journal entries
- Regularly maintain detailed and supported reconciliations of all assigned balance sheet accounts
- Assist with collection efforts
- Investigate & reconcile client accounts as needed
- Develop and maintain customer relationships as part of accounts receivable team
- Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors, as required
- Perform special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
- Relevant experience with the financial close process
- Proficient in Excel
- Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the company
- Experience with NetSuite or Oracle, a plus
