About the role

  • Lead the squad's product efforts and ensure we are solving real problems, delivering value to our students and the company;
  • Define the period's OKRs and KPIs together with the squad and leadership;
  • Communicate and keep the product vision aligned with the company vision, ensuring the team is aligned to both;
  • Based on prioritization, work with teams and stakeholders to define hypotheses to be tested to validate solutions; following validation, create the initiative One-pager;
  • Define, monitor and communicate product metrics through weekly status reports and via ceremonies such as All-hands and committees. These metrics will be developed in collaboration with engineering and the data team;
  • Mediate internal conflicts within the squad and between squads and other stakeholders;
  • Responsible for running the team's recurring ceremonies, or appointing a responsible person in your absence (dailies, sprint plannings, reviews, retros, etc.);
  • Responsible for communicating the team's roadmap and backlog to other teams, resolving conflicts and adjusting communication and prioritization as needed;
  • Influence our strategy and lead our roadmap;
  • Conduct usability tests and user feedback sessions together with designers to iterate on product design using qualitative and quantitative data;
  • Operate with a continuous experimentation mindset, always seeking to improve and challenge the status quo in terms of user experience and business impact;
  • Validating hypotheses, running tests, shipping deliveries and maintaining a problem-first focus will be part of day-to-day work so we can adapt to the environment and evolve quickly;
  • Perform benchmarking, involve other areas such as Pedagogy, Marketing and CX, test gamification and communication approaches to build habits, and use AI tools for inspiration;
  • Focus on developing the app with emphasis on changing people’s lives and transforming the company.

Requirements

  • Experience in product management;
  • Experience with mobile apps and gamification;
  • Strong communication skills with people from different functions, backgrounds and levels of seniority;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders;
  • Ability to make data- and research-driven decisions;
  • Experience with feature and product prioritization methodologies; knowledge of discovery, development and product-related data analysis processes;
  • Experience in startups and agile environments;
  • Advanced English.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with AI.
