About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a technical advisor to project’s CMT and contractors
  • Independently determine approaches and develop solutions to resolve HSE specific site issues
  • Monitor equipment, structures, and work in progress for compliance with health and safety plans
  • Conduct safety walks and provide feedback
  • Develop and conduct training programs for project safety and environmental needs
  • Participate in RCA investigations of incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC projects and/or the heavy construction industry
  • Safety certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is considered a strong asset.
